In order to achieve optimal effectiveness, a more holistic approach is chosen that gives the artist autonomy to stimulate the career steps at his own discretion, whereby costs for international promotion, as well as limited contributions to travel, accommodation and visa costs are eligible for the scheme. Costs related to the purchase of equipment and production costs for recordings of audio productions are not eligible for the scheme.
Amounts are available per artist up to a maximum of EUR 2,500 per application.

The strong position of the Dutch dance scene is under pressure worldwide and competition from abroad is increasing. In addition, hip-hop and R&B are on the rise and there are more and more opportunities for artists in these genres outside our national borders. To prevent opportunities from being missed, the creative ecosystem and the breeding ground for young talent from being exhausted, Dutch Music Export is realising the Dance Hiphop R&B Depot.
In order to stimulate the position of Dutch dance, hip-hop and R&B, Dutch Music Export wants to focus more on young talent over the next two years. By removing financial blockages and creating creative, international collaboration, a new flow of talent can be initiated. This bandwagon effect will be given an incubation period of two years, during which talents will be supported creatively and professionally by Dutch Music Export during a certain period in boosting their international career.

Om hierbij de daad bij het woord te voegen, krijgen artiesten als onderdeel van de regeling tevens een verkorte professionele training aangeboden over de impact van internationaal opereren met betrekking tot duurzaamheid en gelijkwaardigheid.
Aanvragers krijgen binnen vier weken uitsluitsel. Het is niet mogelijk om bezwaar te maken tegen een besluit.

De sterke positie van de Nederlandse dance scene staat wereldwijd onder druk en de concurrentie uit het buitenland neemt hand-over-hand toe. Daarnaast maken hiphop en R&B een opmars door en liggen er steeds meer mogelijkheden voor artiesten in deze genres buiten onze landsgrenzen. Om te voorkomen dat kansen blijven liggen, creatieve ecosysteem en de voedingsbodem van jong talent uitgeput raakt, realiseert Dutch Music Export het Dance Hiphop R&B Depot.
Om de positie van de Nederlandse dance, hiphop en R&B te stimuleren, wil Dutch Music Export de komende twee jaar extra inzetten op jong talent. Door het wegnemen van financiële blokkades en het creëren van creatieve, internationale samenwerking, kan een nieuwe doorstroming van talent op gang worden gebracht. Dit ‘bandwagoneffect’ krijgt een incubatietijd van twee jaar waarin talenten gedurende een bepaalde periode creatief en zakelijk ondersteund worden door Dutch Music Export bij het aanjagen van hun internationale carrière.

Fill in the checkout form. Please note: the checkout form must be submitted as 1 PDF file. The completed payment form is the cover page, in which all associated receipts and invoices are then added to 1 PDF file in the same order as indicated in the cost overview. If this is not the case, the application cannot be completed.

FINALISING AN APPLICATION
Voor de afrekening dienen er 2 documenten te worden aangeleverd.
1. Inhoudelijk evaluatie verslag:

2. Afrekening: overzicht van alle facturen en kosten.
Vul het afreken-formulier in. Let op: het afreken-formulier dient te worden ingeleverd als 1 pdf-bestand. Het ingevulde afreken-formulier is daarvan het voorblad, waarbij vervolgens alle bijbehorende bonnen en facturen in dezelfde volgorde zoals aangegeven in het kostenoverzicht zijn bijgevoegd tot 1 pdf-bestand. Wanneer dit niet het geval is, kan de aanvraag niet worden afgerond.

Het depot is bedoeld voor Nederlandse artiesten die artistiek-inhoudelijk actief zijn binnen de internationale dance, hiphop en R&B scene. Aanmeldingen worden beoordeeld op de volgende criteria:

The artist, possibly together with the business representation, is capable of making realistic and market-oriented plans and has a sufficient production level to operate internationally.

There is a proven international demand for the act.

There is talk of monthly streaming income earned abroad.

There is Dutch copyright;
