Ook dit jaar zal de Schotse muziekconferentie Wide Days digitaal plaatsvinden. Het event dat morgen van start gaat heeft een duidelijk Nederlandse insteek.Op de valreep is het organisatie in Edinburgh alsnog gelukt om een digitale editie van Wide Days voor 2021 rond te krijgen. Met de steun en inzet van Nederlandse artiesten en managers is het ‘last minute’ tevens gelukt om een Nederlands focus-programma en een online showcase in elkaar te zetten. Tijdens het programma op donderdag 12 augustus worden een viertal Nederlandse artiesten voorgesteld aan de Schotse industrie. Programma: · 1100-1200 CEST - Welcome, Scottish market overview & 5 minute presentations on the six Scottish acts being showcased. · 1200-1300 CEST - Low-peed meetings lasting 10-12 minutes. Breakout groups of 4 or 5 participants on Zoom bringing together Scottish and Dutch professionals for informal connections. · 1300-1400 CEST - One-to-one meetings. We would share the list of the invited participants in advance and delegates would set up their own meetings. · 1830-2000 CEST - Dutch international reception online. Begins with market overview by Dutch professionals followed by five minute presentation of the four acts who will feature in the showcase stream.
