What is going to happen?
In recent years, Dutch Music Export has endeavored to adequately support Dutch artists and music professionals in their activities in France.
During this time, much attention and pleasure have been directed towards collaboration with the organizers of the annual MaMa Music & Convention in Paris. However, in recent years, it has become apparent that for a major European music country like France, more than just attending this annual music conference is necessary. The focus of this conference tends to be predominantly on the local French industry.
To further improve and intensify cooperation between the Dutch and French music industries, thereby creating additional opportunities and greater continuity for artists and professionals, Dutch Music Export will organize its first independent trade mission to Paris on June 3, 4, and 5, 2024.
During this trade mission, a select number of music professionals from the Dutch music industry will have the opportunity to (re)discover and better understand the landscape of the French music industry. The program will consist of a tailored three-day agenda including networking sessions, panels, speed meetings, and visits to music companies in Paris. The meetings will take place at the splendid venue of the Atelier Néerlandais on Rue de Lille in Paris.
Additionally, on Wednesday, June 5, Dutch Music Export will organize a showcase at Supersonic on 9 rue Biscornet, featuring three Dutch acts.
The trade mission is organized by Dutch Music Export and the French promotion company Boogie Drugstore, with the support of the Dutch embassy in Paris and the Atelier Néerlandais.
