Dutch Music Export organizes at the request of many and in collaboration with

Dutch Culture USA and the Dutch Consulates in New York and Atlanta of

An independent trade mission to Nashville, USA, from October 27 to 30, 2025

under the name Netherlands to Nashville (N2N). During this mission we offer

an intensive and inspiring programme for Dutch composers and

music professionals who want to delve into the American music industry and

want to expand their international network.

For whom?

This mission is intended for:

• Makers:

Composers who are open to collaboration, co-writes and international development.

• Professionals:

Managers, publishers, labels and other music industry experts who want to network together, share knowledge and do market research.

Program

The program below is currently in full development and will be

compiled in close collaboration with experienced professionals from both the Netherlands

as well as with leading music companies and organizations in Nashville.

The programme consists of two partially parallel tracks:

For makers:

Co-writing sessions with American songwriters and producers • Studio courses and writing camps • Artistic deepening and creative matchmaking.

For professionals:

Knowledge sessions, company visits and networking events • Meetings with American colleagues • Insight into the American market and opportunities for collaboration

Nashville

Nashville is one of the world's most important creative hubs within the music industry.

The city offers a unique infrastructure of songwriters, studios, labels, music publishers and

artists. Nashville is known for its co-writing culture, open networks, and genre-

transcending collaborations within country, americana, folk, pop and rock. For

This offers Dutch makers and professionals a promising breeding ground for artistic

growth and international visibility.

Please note: Participation is limited. Selection will be made based on motivation, artistic profile, and international potential. Participants are expected to participate in the entire competition.

There are limited options for financial support, with Dutch Music Export taking care of:

- The organization of the program, the writing camps and the project management

- Hotels for up to 6 composers for a stay of 5 nights

- Hotels for up to 8 music professionals for a stay of 5 nights

All other travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participants.
