About the panel

Dutch Music Export is back at Amsterdam Dance Event with a follow up to last year's panel subject; How to make it in America, into; “The art of maintaining success”.

We invited two European successful managers of artists that both rank high on longevity succes scale; Thomas Leijgraaff of Mono Management representing Timbaland, and Rachel Strassberger as part of The Black Eyed Peas management team.


Dutch Music Exports Dieuwertje Heuvelings shall ask them all about the innovative developments these teams provide for their clients and get the most concrete tips and advice for your own carrier. Rachel Strassberger

One of the most prolific operators within international pop music, Rachel Strassberger is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Black Eyed Peas. Her role as lead on the band’s social & digital teams has seen her lead major activations, including the Biden Campaign and Where Is The Love 2020 international roll-out. She ensures cohesive, overarching strategies across a multitude of channels – Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, WeChat, Apple Music – and liaising with over 20 major fan groups worldwide. She runs point on all label work (syncing, legal, label copy, master delivery, remix options, video rollout), approves marketing budgets, and leads highly involved international coordination between all global labels and partners. Her work has seen the band pull in their highest ever streaming figures and allowed them to work seamlessly with other high profile collaborators: Shakira, J. Balvin, Daddy Yankee, Maluma, Lele Pons, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, David Guetta.


Thomas Leijgraaf

Thomas Leijgraaff is a seasoned music industry professional who made his mark after relocating to Los Angeles seven years ago from Amsterdam. He quickly rose to prominence by becoming an integral part of Timbaland's management team at Mono Music Group. He has also been instrumental in the success of the iconic music battle series, Verzuz, serving as its executive producer from the very beginning.

His talent management skills shine through as he manages the careers of Grammy winning, Multi platinum producers, Angel Lopez, who has worked with the likes of Jack Harlow and Kanye West, Federico Vindver, known for collaborations with Paulo Londra, and Coldplay, and Dutch music producer Spanker. Thomas has been a masterful connector, fostering exciting collaborations and linking Spanker with top-tier industry names like Mike Will, Timbaland, Young Miko, Blxst, and Boi-1da.

Thomas is renowned for his exceptional networking abilities, facilitating impactful collaborations for his clients, including arranging sessions with the multi-talented Meghan Trainor, resulting in hits like "Made You Look." With his strategic vision and industry expertise, Thomas Leijgraaff continues to shape the future of music in Los Angeles and beyond.

Dieuwertje Heuvelings

Dieuwertje Heuvelings is a music professional, teacher, writer and podcast host from the Netherlands. For the last 14 years she worked as an interviewer, a Spotify playlist editor, an A&R at Arista Records in New York and as a Music Supervisor for TV shows & Commercials. ‘Auxiety’, her recently published debut novel about the rise of Dutch hip hop in the streaming era was shortlisted for the ‘Best Young Adult Book’ of 2021.
