Wax Myrtle's

March 13 // 9:00pm — 9:40pm

With their bold approach to string music and exciting stage presence, Fuse is a one-to-watch formation on the cutting edge of Dutch musical life. The Amsterdam-based sextet performed over 1000 shows at a wide range of concert halls and festivals in The Netherlands and abroad. Utilizing their signature line-up (a string quartet with double bass and drums) the six musicians are able to evolve from their classical and jazz roots, and bring a unique sound and style to the stage. Both improvised and written music are organically part of the band's energetic live sets; technically complex but catching crossover performances.

Amber Arcade

Dream Pop / Indie Pop

Amber Arcades is the moniker of Dutch musician Annelotte de Graaf. Having written and recorded songs in a solo setting for some time, she flew out to New York in 2015 and teamed up with producer Ben Greenberg (Danny Elfman, Depeche, Ryley Walker) to record her debut album ‘Fading Lines.’ The ‘Cannonball’ EP followed in 2017. In 2018 she released her second album ‘European Heatbreak.'

Ir Sais is the artistic moniker of Irgwin Placido Sluis, born on the Caribbean island of Bonaire in the Netherlands Antilles. His father died when Irgwin was just 1 year old. At 11, he began playing drums on tin cans. Completely self-taught, Ir Sais now masters several instruments as well as the production side. After getting his first taste of success with local Bonaire bands, he moved to the Netherlands in 2008, launching a solo career with original material that fuses pop with the Caribbean zouk rhythm.

The Vices

Wax Myrtle's

March 14 // 12:00am — 12:50am

Why is it that we never dare to act purely from what we think and feel in the moment? Why is

it that our world seems to be guided by unwritten rules and the judgment of others? And

what would it sound and feel like if we didn’t feel that way? On March 17, The Vices will

release their second album ‘Unknown Affairs’, a starting point in trying to answer these

thoughts. For the Vices there are no universal truths. The only thing we can do is seek truth

in our own feelings and thoughts. The album includes previously released singles 'Strange

Again', 'I Had A Name' and 'Tomorrow I'll Be'. The album will be released on Mattan
