Marcel Albers

General Director / Project Manager

Marcel Albers started 30 years ago in international artist management. For 10 years Albers doubled as manager and producer of the Academy Award-winning TV show ‘Jiskefet’. He founded European record company Double T Music Holland, which was soon acquired by Sony Music International. He co-established the television production company Double Two and co-founded the Flow Records. In January 2010, he joined Synco Network Europe as CCO, and became CMO at Ampco Flashlight Group. In 2014 Albers founded the Amsterdam and Austin based music company MARS Label Group. Albers was chairman of the MMF, is chairman of the board of the Dutch Live Entertainment Production Awards and board member of the Pop Coalition foundation.

Karin Koopmans

Project Manager

Karin Koopmans started her working carrier as a intern at Universal Music, which led her working as a music professional in the industry for 15 years. Being a assistant manager for White Mountain Management, marketing manager at Ampco Flashlight Holding, Head of Music All Stars Management (Spinnin’ Records), Dance division Roar Management in Los Angeles, General Manager of dj’s Oliver Heldens & Sam Feldt, founding member of the Heartfeldt Foundation and member of the AFEM Green Initiative. Karin sees music as the ultimate communicator to bring positive change in the world.

Dieuwertje Heuvelings

Project Manager

Dieuwertje Heuvelings is a music professional, teacher, writer and podcast host from the Netherlands. For the last 14 years she worked as an interviewer, a Spotify playlist editor, an A&R at Arista Records in New York and as a Music Supervisor for TV shows & Commercials. ‘Auxiety’, her recently published debu​t novel about the rise of Dutch hip hop in the streaming era was shortlisted for the ‘Best Young Adult Book’ of 2021.

Zoë Goldman

Overall Project Manager

Zoë Goldman graduated in 2022 from Rockacademie as a Business Manager. During his time studying he gained experience in both records and publishing through multiple internships. With his great interest in the global music industry and passion for music, Zoë works as an overall project manager at Dutch Music Export supporting the rest of the team.

Paul Solleveld

Chairman

Paul Solleveld has a long history in the music business. Starting as a trainee at IFPI in London, he worked as a copyright lawyer for Buma-Stemra for eight years. After that he spent many years working for NVPI, the Dutch trade organisation for the music (and video) industry, of which twenty years as the managing director. He is an expert in national and international public affairs. He had many functions in the boards of several rights management organisations as well as in anti-piracy. In 2017 he was one of the co-founders and first board members of the Dutch Pop Coalition Foundation. At present he is General Secretary of the Foundation for Copyright Interests, an organisation consisting of practically all organisations with an interest in a well-functioning copyright. Writing and performing music is and has always been important in his life. Some released in the 80’s by EMI Music (now Universal Music). At present he has a small production company PS Productions NL.

Dick van Zuijlen

In 1994 Dick was appointed CFO at Mojo Concerts and tasked with the development of AFAS Live (6,000 cap). He was instrumental in the restructuring and sale of Mojo Concerts (2000) and the sale of AFAS Live (2007) to Live Nation. In 2007 he founded Black Box, a partnership formed with the purpose of developing the Ziggo Dome, a 16,000 capacity music venue in Amsterdam, in a joint venture with Live Nation. Black Box was involved in the development of Volkswagen Arena in Istanbul and the Music Media Dome in Moscow. In 2004 Van Zuijlen was appointed CEO of Live Nation Netherlands overseeing its live music business, venue operations and event security business. In 2020 Van Zuijlen co-founded Remastered, an innovative immersive audio-visual experience in Rotterdam that opened to the public in August 2021. Currently he manages an investment company with a focus on media, renewable energy, biotechnology and impact investing.

Antoinette Wijfels

Antoinette Wijffels is an entrepreneur, designer and general economist and graduated from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. For many years she worked as an integrated water management consultant with a specialization in economics, environment, shipping and offshore mining. In the mid-nineties she put her consultancy work on the back burner to follow her passion for light, images, creativity and the new economy. Together with Rob van Koppen, she is owner-director IMPROVE and of the creative hub and event location Lijm & Cultuur. Antoinette is active as a board member of the Association for Stage Technologies (VPT) and supervisor at Dutch Music Expert (DME). As chair of the NEN Norm-committee for Events, she has been committed to good professional agreements and guidelines within the industry for many years.
